A Great Family Vacation Idea

I personally think that most families spend the summer in beaches and resorts, or camping in the woods that these activities, while being fun and enjoyable, have become a standard and common idea already. If given a chance to plan a great family vacation, I would give my family a cruise trip. It does not only combine luxury, fun, and excitement, but also allows each family member a chance to be on a “resort” as well as an opportunity to travel many places in just one trip.

I would choose a cruise ship which caters to all family members, including little kids. Some cruise ships, such as the Carnival Conquest, have different activities lined up for children of all age groups. Toddlers can engage in drawing, coloring, and painting activities, while children aged six to eight can join games like Disney trivia or shirt painting. Older children have scavenger hunts and talent shows in which they can participate and enhance their creativity. Teens can have fun and meet other people through discos and dance parties.

A family vacation on a cruise ship requires preparation and planning, since a cruise is definitely not cheap! Plan at least six months before, set aside a budget, and avail of a package which offers an itinerary which will excite the entire family.
